What happens during a brow wax and tint?

This two part treatment gives you groomed, defined brows in around half an hour. First, your therapist looks at your natural brow shape and face, then uses warm wax to remove stray hairs from underneath, between and around the brows, creating a clean line that frames your eyes. Any remaining hairs can be tidied for precision. Next, a custom tint is mixed to complement your hair colour and skin tone and applied to the brow hairs, enhancing colour and depth so your brows look fuller and more polished. Tinting is especially helpful for fair, grey or sparse hairs that disappear against the skin. You leave with brows that look neat and natural, with no need to reach for a pencil every morning.

How long does a brow wax and tint last?

Results from a wax and tint typically last two to four weeks, depending on how quickly your hairs grow and how often you cleanse the area. Many clients rebook every three to four weeks to keep the shape crisp. After waxing, the skin can look slightly pink for a short while, so avoid make up, heat, sunbeds and exfoliating products on the brows for the rest of the day. Gentle cleansers help the tint last longer, while oil based removers and scrubs can fade it faster. If you use retinoids or prescribed skin medication, tell your therapist before waxing, as these can make skin more delicate. Your therapist will advise whether waxing is suitable if you have any skin concerns.
